+ Can I buy a ticket to just one day of KentPresents?
Unfortunately, no. Tickets to KentPresents are sold only for the entire three-day event. Tickets are $2,500. We also have a rate for people under 40, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
+ Are accommodations and lodging costs covered in the ticket fee?
No. When you purchase a ticket to KentPresents, you will receive a list of associated inns and bed-and-breakfasts that are holding rooms for attendees. Ticket purchasers travel to the festival and acquire accommodations on their own.
+ When will you announce the final program, topics and speakers for KentPresents 2018?
We announce speakers, moderators, interviewers and panelists for KentPresents 2018 on the website as they are confirmed. To see a preliminary list, please visit our Topics page here. The final topics and program will be announced just before the August opening.
+ Is there a dress code for KentPresents?
No, please feel free to wear casual attire to all events, including dinner. It can get quite warm in August in Kent, so dress accordingly. The auditoriums and rooms used for all sessions at the Kent School are air-conditioned, but some meals and receptions take place outside.
While there is not much walking required, and golf carts are available on campus, comfortable shoes are recommended.
+ What can we do in Kent before the festival opens and after it's over?
The surrounding Litchfield Hills offer additional recreations – a wealth of scenic, physical and cultural attractions. Before and after KentPresents, you can explore galleries and museums, fishing and kayaking, covered bridges and waterfalls, golfing and tennis, antiquing and shopping, and farm-to-table restaurants. + Who founded KentPresents?
KentPresents was founded by Donna and Ben Rosen in August 2014. Ben is a former venture capitalist; chairman emeritus of Compaq Computer; chairman emeritus and current life trustee of the California Institute of Technology; boards have included Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (emeritus) New York Philharmonic (emeritus); former Met Opera board member; former Columbia Business School board chairman.
Donna is a longtime contemporary art gallery owner in New Orleans, and now active in philanthropy, the visual arts, and a board member of the Whitney Museum of American Art, American Friends of the British Museum and Third Way.
