Robert Piconi is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Vault, an IdeaLab (www.idealab.com) portfolio company based in Lugano, Switzerland and focused on the development of renewable energy storage solutions.

His experience includes prior Executive leadership roles in Fortune 100 public companies across various industries including Diversified Energy (Amoco/British Petroleum), Telecommunications Infrastructure (Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, Alcatel), and Security/Network Management (Danaher Corporation). He also founded and developed several innovative Healthcare service and solution companies within the European market which were later acquired by PE Funds and/or large industry conglomerates.

Mr. Piconi completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and his graduate MBA studies at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He resides with his wife and 8 children in Lugano, Switzerland.
