Newscaster for ABC News, Host and Moderator for Intelligence2 Debates, author of “In a Different Key: The Story of Autism”
John Donvan is an author, a broadcaster, a speaker and a performing storyteller. His 2016 book, "In A Different Key: The Story of Autism," is a New York Times bestseller and finalist for a 2017 Pulitzer Prize. He is also host and moderator of the acclaimed "Intelligence Squared U.S." debate series. As a correspondent for ABC News, John has served as Chief White House correspondent, and held postings in London, Jerusalem, Moscow and Amman. John has won two Emmy Awards, several Overseas Press Club Awards and two Cine Golden Eagles, and been honored by the National Association of Black Journalists, the Committee of 100 and the Media Action Network for Asian-Americans. Recognized by the National Magazine Awards for his 2010 Atlantic profile piece "Autism's First Child," he premiered his first one man show, "Lose the Kid," in 2013.
