Cities of the Future

Today we continue our economics segment with our panel, Cities of the Future.

China is creating scores of ultramodern cities, many on artificial islands stretching from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific. The residents? Only Chinese citizens. Is this a major effort by China at neocolonialism? Meanwhile, Toronto is planning a futuristic metropolis in a derelict part of its waterfront. What is the future of the world's cities?

This panel features Dan Doctoroff, Chairman and CEO of Sidewalk Labs and Sarah Moser, assistant professor of Geography at McGill University and is moderated by Mitch Landrieu, author and former mayor of the city of New Orleans.
